National Park NFTs Offer Outdoor Enthusiasts Social Club Membership

The first national park NFT community where members have access to materials and experiences, while giving back to the parks.

IRVINE, Calif., 20 December 2021 / PRNewswire / – Mixart.io today announced the development of NFT for outdoor enthusiasts passionate about national parks in the United States. The NFT 4,625 collection gives holders access to workshops and outdoor gear for hiking, rock climbing, photography or families who love their annual roadtrips in the park.

Mick gow, founder of National Parks NFTs believes that NFTs are ready to mature beyond the simple work of art. “Our NFTs are the key to real-world utility – a club for the most avid outdoor enthusiasts on the planet,” says Gow. While each NFT is a stunning piece of art from the 63 national parks, it is their record on the blockchain that allows each member to access the club, and unlike an image, which cannot be copied.

Where the artwork comes into play is that each NFT has a unique set of characteristics that holds the key to one type of gamification. Different traits give you access to different membership benefits. Hundreds of these types of combinations via mixed trait members with benefits. “One example is that we can partner with a company that offers discount hiking shoes, but to be eligible you must have an NFT that has a hiking trail in the artwork,” explains Mick gow.

The project has been launched on social media, including Twitter, Instagram, and early adopters are gathering on the Discord platform. The last minting day that people can buy NFTs is set for the end of January.

The project roadmap shares a vision that includes future NFT drops for tour guides to serve club members, mobile apps that deliver augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) experiences, and even Members of Pokemon Go style games can play find items located through parks. The project also mentions interesting fundraising efforts to donate to parks and partnerships with carbon offset projects in the NFT space.
