Revolut and UNiDAYS team up to help students better manage their finances
Students who sign up for Revolut through the UNiDAYS platform can earn £15, paid directly into their new Revolut account.
Founded in London in 2015, Revolut now offers dozens of financial products to more than 20 million retail customers through its app. Students can improve their financial health and take control of their finances using Revolut features such as budgeting and analysis, group invoices and subscription management.
The partnership comes as Technical Report 2022 from UNiDAYS recently revealed that 40% of UK students depend on parental support and loans as their main source of income, while one in four students do not feel financially secure.
Through this partnership, Revolut will deliver more personalized financial experiences to the trusted UNiDAYS platform of 22 million members in 115 countries.
With 69% of Gen Z in the UK relying on the advice of their parents to help them manage their finances, the UNiDAYS and Revolut partnership will help students take control of their money.
Alex Gallagher, Chief Strategy Officer at UNiDAYS, emphasized the importance of empowering young adults to manage their finances: “Our mission is to advocate and support students to ensure they can confidently enter life after graduation.
“As they learn to manage budgets, the partnership with Revolut provides our student members with the tools to save, monitor and maintain their finances through a platform designed to understand their needs. We are excited to help students ensure they learn key financial management skills that will support them throughout their lives.
Teresa Cook, Head of Growth Partnerships at Revolut, added: “We are thrilled to partner with UNiDAYS and bring the benefits of financial wellness to students around the world.”
